Semifinal Playoff Rounds in Sunnyvale 6/18/00

DK defeats AM 3-0
Dennis Kim defeats Amir Massih in a sweep in the semifinal round of the Quest for the Cup.

In a matchup that featured Minnesota and Boston, Dennis handily beat Amir with a combined score of 15-3

DK clobbered 6 home runs with Minnesota in Game 1.

LW defeats BW 3-2
Laurence Witschi defeats Brandon Wright in a close series in their semifinal best-of-five round for the Cup.

In Boston vs. New York matchup, Witschi pulled off a nail-biting 2-1 victory in Game 5.

Boston pulled off victories in the first 2 games of the series for both of the competitors. Brandon winning 4-3 in game one, and Laurence winning 2-1 in 11 innnngs in Game 2. But in a surprising turn of events, the New York team won the next three games.
